This Refund Policy explains TierSync's refund practices for subscription-based services. TierSync is operated by BuiltByInk and processes payments through Stripe.
By subscribing to TierSync, you agree to this Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.
TierSync operates on a monthly subscription model. Subscriptions are billed in advance for the upcoming billing period.
We do not provide refunds for completed billing periods. Once a billing period has begun and payment has been processed, you have received access to the Service for that period, and no refund will be issued.
When you cancel your subscription:
- You retain access until the end of your current billing period
- No refund is provided for the remaining days in the current period
- Automatic renewal is stopped
- Access terminates at the end of the paid period
If you subscribe on January 1st and cancel on January 15th:
- You paid for access from January 1st to January 31st
- You retain access until January 31st
- No refund is provided for the period January 15th to January 31st
- Your subscription will not renew on February 1st
During the 7-day free trial period:
- No payment is charged
- You may cancel at any time without charge
- If you cancel before the trial ends, no payment is processed
- If the trial period ends and payment is processed, standard refund policies apply
If payment is processed at the end of your trial:
- The first billing period begins immediately
- Standard refund policies apply from that point forward
- No special refund provisions apply simply because you were on a trial
If you cancel within 7 days of your first paid billing period (not the free trial), you may be eligible for a refund of that first payment, subject to:
- The refund request is made within 7 days of the first charge
- You have not used the Service extensively during that period
- The refund is requested through our support channel
- We reserve the right to deny refunds if the Service has been used in a manner inconsistent with trial usage
This exception applies only to the first paid billing period after any free trial.
If TierSync experiences a significant service failure that prevents you from using the Service for more than 48 consecutive hours during a billing period, you may be eligible for a pro-rated refund or credit for that period. Contact support to request consideration.
If you are charged incorrectly due to our error:
- We will refund the incorrect charge
- We will correct the billing issue
- We will ensure future charges are accurate
If you are charged multiple times for the same billing period:
- We will refund all duplicate charges
- You will retain access for the single correct billing period
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Completed billing periods (as stated above)
- Subscription upgrades or downgrades (changes take effect immediately; no refund for previous plan)
- Service usage during a billing period, even if you cancel mid-period
- Third-party fees (Stripe processing fees, if applicable)
You may cancel your subscription:
- Through your TierSync dashboard
- By contacting support at support@tiersync.app
- By following cancellation instructions in your account settings
- Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period
- You retain access until the period ends
- No refund is provided for the remaining period
You will receive email confirmation of your cancellation. Save this confirmation for your records.
If a refund is approved:
- Refunds are processed through Stripe to your original payment method
- Processing time is typically 5-10 business days
- International refunds may take longer
- Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original payment
- Refund amounts exclude any third-party processing fees (if applicable)
- Exchange rates are determined by your payment provider
If you initiate a chargeback with your payment provider:
- Your TierSync account will be immediately suspended
- We will investigate the chargeback
- If the chargeback is found to be invalid, your account may be permanently terminated
- We reserve the right to dispute invalid chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us directly at support@tiersync.app before initiating a chargeback. We are committed to resolving billing issues fairly and promptly.
If you upgrade your plan:
- The upgrade takes effect immediately
- You are charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of your billing period
- No refund is provided for the previous plan
If you downgrade your plan:
- The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- No refund is provided for the current period
- Future billing reflects the new plan price
All payments and refunds are processed through Stripe. TierSync is not affiliated with Stripe, Inc. Stripe's terms and policies apply to payment processing. For questions about payment processing, contact Stripe support.

- Your account email
- The date and amount of the charge
- The reason for your refund request
- Any relevant transaction IDs
We will respond to refund requests within 5 business days.
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be:
- Posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date
- Effective immediately upon posting
- Applicable to all refund requests made after the update
By subscribing to TierSync, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund Policy. You understand that:
- Refunds are not provided for completed billing periods
- Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current period
- The 7-day refund exception applies only to the first paid billing period
- All refund decisions are at our sole discretion, subject to applicable law
